CT259 waterproof open current transformer is a new structure transformer developed for the rust on the cut surface of the core of the open current transformer on the current market. The transformer adopts a special sealing structure and a cast part. The closed cavity isolates the opening part of the core from the outside air, thereby preventing the core joint surface from rusting. After a long period of testing and practical application verification, the waterproof level reaches IP68. The company is now developing new waterproof open products. The updated structure enables the product to not only reach the IP68 waterproof level, but also be more convenient to install.
The waterproof open current transformer adopts a waterproof sealing structure. During the installation process, it is necessary to pay attention to the sealing structure around the core joint surface to keep it clean. If there are impurities in the sealing structure during the installation process, it will destroy the reliability of the seal and cause the seal to fail.
The CT259 waterproof open current transformer is divided into two small series: products with only current conversion function, and products with integrated puncture power supply function on the basis of current conversion function, corresponding to different applications respectively.
Waterproof puncture products not only have waterproof functions, but also integrate the structure of puncture and electricity collection needles. The puncture needle is made of stainless steel and wrapped with a sealing ring. After the product is fixed, the sealing ring can seal the puncture needle to protect the cable at the puncture site from oxidation, ensuring the stability and reliability of puncture and electricity collection.
In particular, the puncture needle adopts a sealed structure, which can also isolate the arc generated by disconnecting the puncture during the puncture process or the release process, avoiding the fire hazard caused by the puncture operation in a flammable environment.

Because this product has many excellent design genes, it has been recognized and adopted by customers once it was launched. And according to customer needs, it is planned to launch more specifications of the same series of products.

*Atmospheric conditions: No serious pollution, corrosive and explosive media in the atmosphere.
*No environment with significant frequent vibration and impact.
*Storage temperature -30℃~+75℃.

The additional fixing structure of the product, combined with the diameter of the product's through-hole, is suitable for installing cables with a size of 10mm-35mm. Cables within this range can be well fixed.
